The park is located on the booming I-40 corridor between Knoxville and Crossville. The park's location at I-40 puts you at the crossroads of America. I-40 connects with I-75 just 15 minutes away and with I-81 just an hour to the northeast. The park features not only interstate access - always a very positive factor in industrial parks - but also the combination of rail and air infrastructure. The park is a partnership between Cumberland, Morgan and Roane Counties and is adjacent to the Rockwood Airport, which has recently undergone more than $2 million in updates, including a 5,000-foot-long parallel taxiway. The airport can accommodate private planes as well as commercial airliners up to Boeing 737 size.
Construction on the park's Phase I is underway on the south side of I-40 in Cumberland County where 780 acres are located. Another 300 acres are adjacent to Rockwood Municipal Airport, most of which are in Morgan County and will be part of Phase II.
