Nationally-known Motivational Speaker Dale Henry To Speak at Annual Chamber Banquet

Kingston - Nationally-known humorist and business trainer Dr. Dale Henry will be the featured speaker this year at the Roane County Chamber of Commerce's annual banquet. Henry has been featured on numerous television and radio talk shows around the world and in the year 2000 alone, he presented to over 40 of the Fortune 50 companies. He speaks to and trains more than 100,000 professionals and executives each year.
A lively and entertaining speaker, educator and storyteller, Henry has called Roane County his home for 33 years. His client list includes Levi Strauss, AT&T, First Union Bank, Maytag, Cellular One, GTE, FedEx, MCI, Xerox, Sun Trust, and The Disney Company.
Henry will headline the program for this year's banquet, which will be held on Friday evening, April 17, at Whitestone Country Inn and will also include the presentations of the Chamber's annual business awards -- the Distinguished Service Award, the Athena Award and the Business of the Year. The event's major sponsor this year is EnergySolutions and the evening's festivities will also include a wine reception, a silent auction and a five-course gourmet meal. The evening will begin at 6 pm, with the reception and the silent auction, with dinner and the program to follow at 7.
Henry has served as an educator, administrator, author, speaker, trainer, consultant and entrepreneur. He completed his Ph.D. in 1991 with a concentration in the area of Adult and Continuing Education, after earning his B.S. and M.S. in Secondary Education. In 1994, he was appointed Associate Dean of Professional and Graduate Studies for Tennessee's oldest college, Tusculum College in Greeneville, Tennessee. Years of consulting and speaking in seminars and in-service trainings throughout the country, facilitated another transition into public speaking and professional development. Henry has been honored with numerous business and educational awards and prides himself in being a master teacher. Although Henry believes in the importance of laughter, his presentations always deliver a strong message packed with useful tools. Henry is the founder and president of Your Best Unlimited, Inc., a Tennessee-based training company.
