Roane County Native Now Working for The Roane Alliance

Kingston, TN - Roane County native Darrell Williams has come to work for The Roane Alliance as their new Membership Services Manager. Williams is an award-winning salesman who has spent the past 20 years in sales, marketing and consulting, specifically in the nanotechnology field.
Williams has won awards for his marketing projects (specifically in business advertisements) and has been the recipient of numerous "Top Sales' Awards." Most recently, Williams has been consulting for some startup research equipment manufacturers. He worked in both Texas and Tennessee over his sales career, involved primarily in sales and marketing, and most of which has been with research and development manufacturers who deal in the nanotechnology markets.
"We are very excited to have landed Darrell here at The Alliance," Alliance President and CEO Leslie Henderson said, "It is lucky for us that he is committed to living and working in his home county and is personally committed to seeing his hometown area grow and prosper."
Williams says one of his primary focuses as Membership Services Manager will be going out to meet with local businesses to help promote the Chamber's services not only to potential Chamber members, but to existing members, as well.
"I want to learn all about our members' needs and concerns, so that we can help them to address those and remind them about how hard we at the Chamber can and do work for them. " Williams said, "It should be a win-win for all."
Williams and his wife, Teresa, are both from Roane County, now live in Kingston, and have a grown daughter, Kim who teaches at Kingston Elementary School. He is a graduate of Harriman High School and attended Roane State Community College.
The Roane County Chamber of Commerce is one of the partners at The Roane Alliance. The Alliance consists of both public and private organizations, including the County Industrial Development Board and the Roane County Visitors Bureau, as well as the chamber.
